Building Software That Businesses
Can Depend On.
Lead Software Engineer, Software Architect, and Founder with seven years building products that scale. I help businesses design, build, and grow reliable software systems—from early-stage product decisions to enterprise architecture.

The Story
Engineer. Founder.
Architect.
My career began writing code. It evolved into designing systems. Then leading teams. Then building companies. Each step added a new dimension to how I think about software—not just as a technical discipline, but as a business function that must earn its place through real outcomes.
I founded Agilo IT to bring senior-level engineering leadership to businesses that needed it without the overhead of a full-time hire. I co-founded Servero.io to solve real operational problems through software. I built Agilo Academy to develop the next generation of engineers. Through all of it, the core question remained the same: what does this business actually need from its technology?
Today I work as Lead Software Engineer at Grain Marketplace—leading architecture, engineering standards, and product delivery—while continuing to consult with founders, startups, and growth-stage companies on technical strategy, system design, and scalable engineering.

Leadership Beyond Code
Engineering leadership is a discipline,
not a title.
Technical Leadership
Writing great code is the baseline. Leading teams toward better architecture, cleaner practices, and smarter decisions is where engineering maturity shows up. I work on the system of engineering, not just the code inside it.
Mentoring Engineers
The fastest way to scale an engineering culture is through people, not tooling. Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers creates leverage that no individual contributor can match on their own.
Architecture Thinking
Every significant technical decision has compounding consequences. Strong architecture prevents expensive rewrites, enables faster iteration, and reduces future risk. Time spent designing systems correctly upfront saves months of remediation later.
Product Thinking
Software engineers who understand business outcomes build better systems. Feature prioritization, architectural trade-offs, and delivery decisions all improve when engineering thinks in terms of outcomes—not outputs.
Business Communication
Technical excellence loses its value when it cannot be explained to the people it affects. Translating complexity into clarity—for founders, product managers, and clients—is a core engineering responsibility.
Decision-Making Under Uncertainty
The hardest engineering decisions happen with incomplete information and limited time. Experienced leaders have frameworks for making defensible calls quickly and reversing them gracefully when the evidence changes.
Core Values
What Guides Every Decision I Make
Business First
Technology is a means, not an end. Every decision—what to build, how to build it, what to delay—begins with the business objective. Good engineers ask why before they ask how.
Architecture Matters
Strong foundations enable everything that follows. Poorly designed systems slow down teams, create risk, and accumulate debt that eventually must be repaid with interest. The cost of getting it right upfront is always lower.
Build Relationships
The best software is built by people who trust each other. Long-term partnerships between engineers, product managers, and clients consistently produce better outcomes than transactional engagements.
Communicate Clearly
Complexity that cannot be explained is a liability. Every technical decision should be communicated in a way that all stakeholders can understand, evaluate, and trust—regardless of their technical background.
Never Stop Learning
The software industry evolves faster than any individual can track. Maintaining a genuine commitment to learning—not just following trends—separates engineers who grow from those who stagnate.
Own the Outcome
Accountability doesn't end at deployment. The real measure of engineering success is whether the software continued to deliver value to the business long after the sprint was closed and the ticket was marked done.
